Onyx Boxing was founded in March 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona — born from a deep passion for the sport of boxing and a frustration with the lack of authentic, certified boxing instruction available to everyday fitness enthusiasts.
The vision was clear from day one: build a boxing studio where the coaching standard is non-negotiable. Every coach would hold a certified USA Boxing credential — the highest standard in the sport. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
