Because both routes use I-10 or the Loop 202, timing matters more than distance. Mid-morning classes (8:30–10:30 AM on Tuesday and Thursday) and late-evening classes (up to 8:00 PM on weekdays) avoid the worst of it, and weekend classes are the easiest of all.
